An 'advertorial' piece in the 1903 publication 'Southwold & Neighbourhood' features W H Naunton's business (see below) and mentions his father who 'carried on the same business 70 years ago' - ie 1833.

George is still trading in 1871 (C1871)

William Henry's son, Ernest George Naunton, is also recorded as at this address as a Solicitor's Clerk at this date (K1896)

Ernest George Naunton - (William Henry's son, the solicitor's clerk) continues to be recorded as living at this address in the early 1900s but, by 1911, will move to No 21 Stradbroke Road and, in due course will be appointed Town Clerk. (C)
